'<p class=bio> <img src=/images/tools/speakers/norrie.jpg width=100 align=left> <b> Moira Norrie </b> is deputy head of the Department of Computer Science at the ETH in Zürich. She studied Mathematics and Computer Science in her home country of Scotland and obtained a B.Sc. from the University of Dundee, an M.Sc. from Heriot-Watt university in Edinburgh and a Ph.D. from the University of Glasgow. Her previous posts include lectureships at the Universities of Edinburgh, Hertfordshire and Abertay and research positions at the Swedish Institute for Systems Development (SISU) in Stockholm and the University of Glasgow. She joined the Institute for Information Systems at ETH Zürich in 1993 and established the Global Information Systems group in February 1996.'
