 Stan Lippman

Stanley Lippman is a principal software engineer for Walt Disney Feature Animations There he is responsible for          developing and making use of the Object Oriented paradigms in C++. His recent work has been with the film "Hunchback of Notre Dame" where he has received on screen credits.

Before working at Disney, Stan worked for AT&T Bell labs  where he worked with Bjarne Stroustrup on the c-front  compiler. His credits at AT&T include `c-front' versions 2.1 and 3.0.

Over the last couple of years Stan has contributed significant to the C++ community through numerous articles to the
"C++ Report" (SIGS) magazine. In addition Stan was also the editor of the magazine between 1991-1995 until Doug Schmidt took over the editorial position.

In addition Stan has also published many books including the
"C++ Primer" and his more recent book "Inside  the C++ Object Model" both published by Addison Wesley.
