ObjectTeam
Presenters: Greg Narog Greg_Narog@cayennesoft.com & Dave Remmel Dave_Remmel@cayennesoft.com |
Tuesday, August 4 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Wednesday, August 5 |
ObjectTeam is a powerful repository based multi-user Object-Oriented Analysis and Design Modeling tool providing OMG UML 1.0 support. The ObjectTeam environment includes an OMT process with built-in security, versioning, and configuration management capabilities to sustain project software development in the large. ObjectTeam provides integrations to several IDEs, requirements management tools, documentation tools, and test tools. One of the integrations is Design by Contract. There are currently 12 different code generators available – Eiffel being one of them. If your current or future development plans necessitate the use of a robust UML Object Oriented Analysis and Design Modeling tool you won't want to miss this demonstration of ObjectTeam. Support for Design by Contract and Eiffel code generation will be included in the demonstration.

A WWW-Based Distributed OO Tool Suite for Software Understanding and Traceability Management
Presenter: Franklin J. Zigman zigman@cccc.com |
Wednesday, August 5 9:15 AM - 10:45 AM |
The power of the Internet exploited through tools written in Java and interfacing via CORBA can dramatically increase productivity by allowing remote access to data that may otherwise be unattainable or require duplication for local use. This becomes more evident when these data and repositories reside on heterogeneous machines in differing tools, thereby increasing management overhead. CCCC has developed a tool suite that facilitates SDLC activities while utilizing the power of the Internet to provide a truly distributed object system. Hyperbook is an instensive software analysis tool that provides software understanding, architecture discovery and manipulation, interface reporting, and graphical code/architecture visualization from a browseable repository of artifacts. The TraceNet Tool (TNT) is a sophisticated tracing tool for the capture, graphical representation, and relationship definition of requirements and artifacts across all phases of the SDLC.
Forté Software |
![]() |
Forté Software designs, develops, markets and supports Forté®, the industry's leading application environment for the development, integration and deployment of complex applications in distributed environments. Forté enables organizations to reduce risk and increase productivity by shortening the application development process resulting in reliable, scalable, high-performance operations in distributed computing environments.
Forté Technology Demonstration
Presenter: Trent Lukens tel: 510-986-3627 |
Wednesday, August 5 11:15 AM - 12:45 PM |
Forté provides an integrated application environment and infrastructure to support development and deployment of multi-tier enterprise networked applications. Forté eliminates the need for separate client development tools, server development tools, middleware, ORBs, repositories, and application management tools. This approach has proven effective in dramatically shortening development time, reducing development risk, providing greater business flexibility, and decreasing costs.
A complex application demonstrating the advanced features of Forté will be shown. In addition, a small application will be constructed and deployed using Forté.
Rase Inc. |
