Object oriented technology has matured over the past ten years and its use in industry has shown the usefulness of the technology in initiating and developing systems and injecting new life intolegacy systems. Developing new and adapting legacy systems requires appropriate project management support at strategic, process, application and technology levels. Many approaches to managing these levels have been proposed, within new development techniques. Notable developments include Contract-driven process lifecycle model, Extreme Programming (XP), Architecture Frameworks ( Business Strategies to Implementation) and the SCRUM development Process.
