'<h2 class=abstract> Worskhop on Education and Training (WET) <p class=paperauthor> Workshop moderators: Heidi Ellis, Rensselaer at Hartford and Richard Mitchell, InferData Corporation <p class=abstract> WET, the TOOLS Workshop on Education and Training, will focus on the relationship between industry and academia, concentrating on two loosely-related themes: <ul> <li>In educating and training the next generation of software engineers, what should academia do and what should industry do?</li> <li>How can industry and academia further exploit the Internet for education and training?</li> </ul> <p class=abstract>You are cordially invited to submit a one to two page position paper addressing either or both of these themes.  Your paper should cover: your interest in the topics, any relevant experience you can bring to the workshop, a brief autobiography, and contact information.  <p abstract=paperauthor>Still time to submit a contribution!  <p class=abstract>Position papers should be submitted by <b>June 15, 2001</b> by e-mail in plain text format to the workshop organiser, Heidi Ellis (<a href=mailto:heidic@rh.edu>heidic@rh.edu</a>).  <p class=abstract>The Workshop will be informal in style, as in previous years.
