Non-academic Authors whose papers are selected to be included in the published proceedings of the TOOLS USA 2001 Conference are entitled to a 50% discount from the regular TOOLS Conference fees. This discount is applicable only if registering for at least two days. When registering, select "Author" rate.
The above discounts do not apply to the Workshop on Education and Training (WET).
Group Discounts
A 10% discount is applicable to any registration of 3 or more people from the same company site, registering at the same time, for a minimum of 2 consecutive days.
A 20% discount is applicable to any registration of 5 or more people from the same company site, registering at the same time.

TOOLS Regular Registration
Fees for regular TOOLS conference registration include: access to all TOOLS conference sessions; a copy of the tutorial notes for each tutorial attended; a copy of the conference proceedings; refreshments during morning and afternoon breaks; lunches; and free access to the exhibition. A beach barbecue will be held on Monday, July 30 as well as the conference dinner on Wednesday, August 1. Attendees only who are registered on those days can attend at no extra charge.

Exhibit Passes
TOOLS issues free exhibit passes to those who are not registered for the conference sessions, but wish to visit the exhibit hall, open July 31 through August 2, 2001. Your exhibit pass entitles you to: free access to the Exhibit Hall, including the exhibit cocktail on Wednesday, August 1; refreshments during morning and afternoon breaks (served right in the exhibit hall).
Note that all conference registrations include free access to the exhibition.
Payment & Cancellation
TOOLS must receive pre-payment of the registration fees in order to guarantee you registration. Advanced fees only apply if payment is received on or before the due date. Payment should be made by check, credit card or international money order to Interactive Software Engineering, Inc. and accompany the registration form. Substitutions will be accepted at any time.
Written cancellations received by
June 30, 2001 will be liable to a 50 percent service fee. After this date, there will be no refund.

Beach BBQ Dinner
A fun under-the-sun beach BBQ dinner at a local Santa Barbara beach will mark the first offical day of the conference - Monday, July 30, 2001. You will be treated to a delectable feast of local dishes and beverages, prepared by the best caterer in town. The cost of this event is included in regular TOOLS registrations. Attendees paying discounted fees (faculty, students, authors) may purchase tickets for themselves, and of course everyone may purchase extra tickets for their spouses, children, etc. Price per person: US$30.00
Exhibit Cocktail
To mark the first day of the exhibit, a special cocktail party will be held to welcome the exhibitors and put them under the spotlight. The cocktail will be held in the Exhibit Hall from 18:00 to 20:00 on Tuesday, July 31, 2001. There is not charge for this event for registered conference and exhibit attendees.
Conference Dinner
The evening will include a delightful meal served with local wine, followed by an enchanting musical program including opera and piano, held in a suberb ocean-front outside plaza. A number of awards and prizes will be handed out. The conference dinner will be held in the evening of Wednesday, August 1, 2001. The cost of this event is included in regular TOOLS registrations. Attendees paying discounted fees, as well as guests are welcome to attend the soiré for an additional fee. Price per person: US$60.00
Fiesta
For five memorable days starting on August 1 through August 5, Santa Barbara residents and visitors will join in sharing out cultural and romantic past with the ringing of the bells on the steps of the Old Mission, the procession of the El Desfile Historico parade to the colorful Mercaos, the Rodeo featuring the Competicion de Vaqueros, the Arts & Crafts Show, the beautiful Noches do Ronda and much more, with most events free to all.
