Full-Time Faculty Members: Take advantage of a 50% discount on the above registration fees.

Full-Time Students: Take advantage of a 60% discount on the above registration fees.

Non-academic authors whose papers are selected to be included in the published proceedings of the TOOLS USA 1999 Conference will be entitled to a 50% discount from the regular fees. When registering, select "Author" rate.

Group Discounts
A 10% discount is applicable to any registration of 3 or more people from the same company site, attending for a minimum of 2 consecutive days. For 5 or more people the discount is 20%. These discounts are applicable to regular registrations only and may not be combined with any other offer. Please submit one registration per attendee. Contact the TOOLS Conferences to inquire about the benefits of larger groups.

Regular Registration

Fees for regular registration include: access to all conference sessions; a copy of the tutorial notes for each tutorial attended; a copy of the conference proceedings; breaks; lunches; and free access to the exhibition.

Faculty, Student and Author Registration

Fees for faculty, student, and author registrations include: access to all conference sessions; a copy of the tutorial notes for each tutorial attended; a copy of the conference proceedings; breaks; and free access to the exhibition. Tickets for lunches are not included, but may be purchased separately.

Payment & Cancellation

TOOLS must receive pre-payment of the registration fees in order to guarantee you registration. Advanced fees marked "by May 7" only apply if payment is received before this date. Payment should be made by check (in French Francs), international money order, inter-bank wire transfer, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Eurocard) to Palais des Congrès and accompanied by the registration form. Written cancellations received by June 1, 1999 will be liable to a 200FF handling fee. After this date, there will be no refunds.

Welcome Cocktail
To mark the first day of TOOLS Europe '99, a welcome cocktail will be hosted on Monday, June 7, at the Palais des Congrès of Nancy official conference site of the 29th TOOLS conference. The cocktail is sponsored by the Henri Poincaré University, here in Nancy. A warm welcome to all!

Guided Tour of Nancy
On Tuesday, June 8, all TOOLS participants and their guests are invited to put on their comfortable shoes and join us for a grand tour of Nancy's vibrant sites. English- and French-speaking guides provided by the Tourism Office of Nancy will show us the way. The tour is complimentary for everyone.

Cocktail
An elegant cocktail will be hosted by Nancy's city hall, in Le Salon Carré de l'hôtel de ville, on Wednesday, June 9, at 19:30. There is no fee for this event and everyone (guests included) is of course invited!

Conference Dinner
The evening will include a delightful meal served with local wine, in the enchanting Grands Salons de l'hôtel de ville of Nancy, in the city's historic center of La Place Stanislas. A number of awards and prizes will be handed out. The conference dinner will be held in the evening of Wednesday, June 9, 1999. The cost of this event is not included in the registration fees. Attendees and their guests are welcome to attend the soirée for an additional fee. Price per person: 350FF

Accommodation

TOOLS Europe '99 offers its attendees 4 categories of accommodation: 4, 3, 2 stars, and tourism. Please specify your selection on the registration form and the Palais des Congrès, TOOLS Europe '99 conference site, will make reservation arrangements for you. A deposit is required to guarantee your reservation (see the registration form for more details).

Travel Arrangements

TOOLS Europe '99 offers its attendees discount vouchers equivalent to 40% off the regular air fares on AIR LIBERTE and AIR LITORAL. Discount vouchers equivalent to 20% off the regular fares are also available on the S.N.C.F. (French train system) - valid on two-wat travel on French railways only. TOOLS is not responsible for coordinating attendee's travel. To benefit from these discounts, simply mention in the registration form your method of travel, as well as the dates and times of arrival and departure, and the Palais des Congrès will transmit the information to the respective airline or to the S.N.C.F. as proof that you are registered to the TOOLS Europe '99.
